2025–2026 School Year

The school year brings excitement, fresh opportunities, and a renewed sense of purpose. Our students, staff, families, and community all play an important role in making our schools strong, supportive, and successful.

Together, we look forward to a year of learning, growth, and connection. With the #WaunakeeWAY spirit guiding us, 2025–2026 will be a year filled with pride, achievement, and memorable moments for all.

November is National Native American Heritage Month! This is a time dedicated to recognizing and celebrating the rich and diverse histories, cultures, contributions, and contemporary issues of Indigenous peoples across the United States.

For the month of November, you will see the Ho-Chunk flag flying at each school. The Board of Education (BOE) approved recognition per a resolution adopted a few years ago to commemorate Native American Heritage Month. The resolution by the Board of Education can be found on our district website.
